Sensei Shiv K. Panchal trained in Wrestling during his school days, and has participated in some tournaments. He began Martial Arts training in 1989 in RSS Sakha Classes at Gita Vidya Mandir School. Later He joint proper Shotokan under Sensei Ram Singh, 5th Dan (Chief Instructor of Traditional Shotokan Karate Federation of India). He also join Sensei Mazhar Asif (Chief Instructor of Japan Shoto Ryu Karate Do International) for associate with All India Karate Do Federation from 1999 to 2002. In 2002 after some dispute with TSKFI & JSKI he left them and joined International Shotokan Karate Federation (ISKF) of Grand Master Teruyuki Okazaki, 10th Dan (Direct student of Master Gichin Funakoshi). Shihan Teruyuki Okazaki appoints him Chief Instructor of ISKF India and also invite him in ISKF World Camp same year in USA. In 2008 Shihan Teruyuki Okazaki send to Sensei Larry F. Loreth (8th Dan & Certified Instructor-ISKF) to India for 05 days training Seminar and also invite to Sensei Panchal for ISKF Kenshusei Instructor Training Programme in Philadelphia, USA. He was promoted to 4th Dan in 2009 direct examination under Shihan Teruyuki Okazaki and also 5th Dan in 2014. Sensei also joined Kenshusei Instructor Training Programs in 2010 under Shihan Teruyuki Okazaki. Sensei Panchal has been training in Shotokan Karate for 31 years and currently instructs full time at the ISKF India Headquarters, teaching all youth and adult classes, beginner through Black Belt. Sensei Panchal competed at the national and international levels as a youth and adult. His skills were such that, by age 16, he competed in the adult divisions where he continued his winning record. In numerous competitions, Sensei Panchal consistently demonstrated his skill and talent and he was 12 time State Champion in Haryana State Karate Association.
