ISKF India is dedicated to preserving and promoting traditional Shotokan Karate throughout India. Under the leadership of Sensei Shiv K. Panchal, the organization continues to develop students, instructors and Karate practitioners through disciplined training.

Our Heritage

Tradition. Honor. Heritage.

Founded by Sensei Shiv K. Panchal in 2006, the International Shotokan Karate Federation of India (ISKF India) is committed to preserving and promoting the intangible cultural heritage of traditional Shotokan Karate-do.

Our practice is rooted in the authentic traditions of Shotokan Karate-do passed down through the teachings and legacy of Grand Master Teruyuki Okazaki, 10th Dan, and Grand Master Masahiro Motomura, 10th Dan, while continuing to evolve responsibly for future generations.

Our Philosophy

Sho Bu Kai — “To Practice Budo with Honor”

The name Sho Bu Kai represents the philosophy that guides our journey.

Budo may be understood as the Martial Way or Martial Path toward enlightenment. Through the study and practice of Karate-do, we seek not only technical excellence, but also personal growth, discipline, humility, self-control, and a deeper understanding of the martial way.

We practice Karate-do not simply to learn how to fight, but to develop ourselves as human beings.

We study Karate-do to illuminate the path — and we walk that path with honor.

Our Growing Karate Community in India

Today, ISKF India has established its presence across Haryana, Delhi, Tamil Nadu, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal, Maharashtra, Assam, and Andhra Pradesh, bringing together Karate practitioners, instructors, students, and families who share a common commitment to Shotokan Karate-do.
